Technical Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
• Experience using debt collection, accounting, or customer management systems.
• Knowledge of debt recovery procedures, credit control, and collection processes.
• Ability to prepare collection reports and maintain accurate recovery records.
• Understanding of relevant debt recovery laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess accounts and recommend appropriate recovery actions.

Experience & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, HND, or Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in debt recovery, credit control, collections, or a similar role.
• Proven experience negotiating repayment plans and recovering outstanding debts.
• Experience handling delinquent accounts while maintaining professional customer relationships.
• Strong knowledge of collection procedures, documentation, and reporting.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
