Technical Requirements

1. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repair procedures for commercial fleets.
2. Proficiency in fleet management systems, maintenance tracking software, and Microsoft Office applications.
3. Knowledge of preventive maintenance planning, scheduling, and vehicle inspection processes.
4. Understanding of occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards applicable to fleet operations.
5. Ability to manage spare parts inventory, procurement processes, and maintenance cost control.
6. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to monitor fleet performance, downtime, and maintenance trends.

Experience & Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Transport Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of five (5) years' experience in fleet maintenance management, automotive workshop supervision, or a similar role.
3. Proven experience supervising mechanics, technicians, and workshop operations to ensure efficient fleet maintenance.
4. Experience in preparing maintenance reports, managing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
5. Professional certification in Fleet Management, Automotive Maintenance, or a related discipline is an added advantage.
6. Demonstrated experience in budget management, vendor coordination, and implementing cost-saving initiatives within fleet operations.
