Job Description

Technical Requirements (Duties)

  1. Drive achievement of monthly sales targets within assigned territories.
  2. Monitor and ensure product visibility and availability across all sales channels.
  3. Supervise and guide sales representatives to meet key KPIs (drop size, call frequency, strike rate).
  4. Expand numeric and weighted distribution to increase market penetration.
  5. Identify and develop new business opportunities (white spaces) within the territory.
  6. Ensure proper execution of trade promotions and in-store activities according to company standards.
  7. Monitor stock levels, pricing compliance, and trade execution discipline.
  8. Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  9. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., FMCL team) to ensure smooth operations.
  10. Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive growth.

 

Experience and Qualifications

  1. Minimum of HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. 2–5 years of proven experience in FMCG sales within the Ghanaian market.
  3. Strong knowledge of FMCG Route-to-Market (RTM) strategies.
  4. Good understanding of assigned territory and local market dynamics.
  5. Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  6. Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  7. Willingness and ability to travel frequently within assigned regions.
  8. Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel, Word).
  9. Fluency in local languages such as Twi and/or Ga is an added advantage
